AxioCam ERc 5s on a Nikon TMS microscope

    We have a Zeiss AxioCam ERc 5s camera and a Nikon TMS-f microscope, how do we connect the two? Neither company was forth coming with a solution, instead they were keen only to sell their own camera or microscope.
    Coincidently, at the time I was fitting a new bathroom at home so as I measured the microscope housing the 40mm diameter rang a bell as being the same size as UK waste water pipe.
    Using a collar made from a Dr Pepper can and a 40mm long length of drain pipe we have something functionally equivalent to the £400 video tube (which wasn't guaranteed to fit).

    It's not quite para-focal with the eye piece but the beam splitter is all or nothing so you can't see through the camera and eye pieces at the same time anyway.
