Electroplating for fun! 

You will need: -

• Electroplater https://amzn.to/2lTXZqo 
• Electrode tip https://amzn.to/2Jpvpbu 
• Metal solution https://amzn.to/2SuPh15
• Something to plate. 
• I used slug tape https://amzn.to/2Svoku7 it's cheap and easy to shape.

Method:

• Wet the electrode tip in your metal solution and insert into the electrode pen.
• Connect your thing to be plated to the black crocodile clip.
• Paint the thing with the pen!

• The dark spots are where I stopped to take a picture, don’t aim for this!
• Voltage ~10V but everything seemed to work 
• Current set to max, the current used is a function of the resistance of everything.
• Repeat the painting 3-4 times, ensure an even coat.

Finish:

• Power off the box.
• Store tip in a plastic bag.
• Rinse of the thing coated before use, dry well.
